Home Theatre

An Installation

A performative installation made by the public while listening a series of choreographic soundscapes on mp3 devices, inspired by the architectural project Stanley Revisited by KANVA Architecture; a total of five journeys – each journey is approximately 10 minutes long.

“A home is built by the immediate experience between subject and object, as in a theatre play where the subject is the actor. Home is less visual than we think. Home is an illusion created by its inhabitants. Home is not built by forms but by contrasts. Home is memory. Home gives us reasons to live. Home is a façade. Home is a state of the soul. Home is a void. Home is not about square meters. Home is built by what we do there. Home is a theatre made by actors in an idealized drama about contemporary existence. A home is never alone.”
