Last season concluded on a high note with an ambitious co-production halfway around the world. Artistic Director Stacey Christodoulou traveled to South Korea to direct the Korean premiere of Greg MacArthur’s Recovery, brought to life through a dynamic collaboration between talented Canadian and Korean artistic teams. The project marked a powerful exchange of creative perspectives and deepened The Other Theatre’s commitment to international dialogue.

This year, we are embarking on a season devoted to research, development, and experimentation — a creative laboratory where ideas unfold, shift, and evolve. This includes the pre-production phase of How We Lost Control Of…, the research and develoment phase of Nyctograph, a new participatory installation inspired by our E4LD project. Named after a curious device invented by Lewis Carroll to record dreams in the dark, Nyctograph invites audiences to step through the looking glass and into the poetic unknown.

We are also preparing to host our colleagues from South Korea in 2028!
